WGS-9 Successfully Delivered by ULA Delta IV as you can watch here live as ULA's Delta IV rocket lifts off with the ninth Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS-9) mission for the U.S. Air Force. The twilight liftoff by United Launch Alliance is scheduled for 7:44 p.m., or about 10 minutes after sunset. The window for liftoff at Launch Complex 37 closes at 8:59 p.m. On board is the ninth Wideband Global SATCOM satellite, or WGS-9. When deployed, it will help meet increased bandwidth requirements for the Department of Defense.
